SteemitPhotoChallenge - Nature Closeups
This is my 3 entries for the #steemitphotochallenge week 4. We have closeups of nature this week. All my pictures were taken on a Nikon D3300. I hope you enjoy. #photography #steemitphotochallenge
1st is A Common Buckeye Catepillar. This is a very colorful caterpillar with black, orange, white, a sort of metallic blue and yellow and gold "flakes" sprinkled about its body.
2nd is The Common Buckeye Butterfly, which shows the beautiful transformation this caterpillar goes through to adulthood.
3rd is A Hibiscus. This is a beautiful yellow flower that is frequented by many butterflies, bees and other flying insects.
Nice Work, I was amazed at how close you got to that Common Buckeye Butterfly until I remembered this photo. Great shots and good information.
The butterfly in this post looks bigger than the one in my entry. :-)
