Today, i want to talk a little about payouts and voting

On steemit
When post are made it given a window to get upvotes.

After that time (window is been closed) uptoves are not possible.

And after its closed, votes are worth nothing
So u have 6 and half days...ie 6 days, 12 hrs to get upvotes.

After that, last 12 hrs to payout is used to close and payout....
No mater how fast your internet is, your upvote on such a post can never go through

Then after the 7th day, you get 75% of the value of the post in your wallet as authors reward.

It is not wise to vost older than 7 days, as it has already been paid out and has no effect or addition to it

So it is always good to share your post when it is in the initial stages
