I got to understand a little about cryptocurrency and bitcoin when I joined STEEM.

Prior to that them I only know bitcoin to be cryptocurrency; thinking bitcoin was the only cyptocurrency.
And that cryptocurrency is an electronic money (I was ignorantly grouping cryptocurrency with other E-monies like PayPal, Payoneer etc)

Thanks to steem and many others whose tutorials from which I was able to understand all about blockchain technology, and that bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency.
