I've brought a few people onto Steem over the last few weeks and the process is horrible and for most people general Steem is a strange place.
However, for owning our SUFB tokens it's great and that's all that most of those we've brought on will do. You're absolutely right, sooner or later the use cases will start to multiply and one will explode.
I've been using Wordpress for a decade or more and I agree: most people have no idea how much of the web they're using is run on modified Wordpress sites. The idea of de-centralised hosting which you pay for in crypto rather than by paying hosting companies is mind bending but it will work. I also hope Steem is where we see it working.

I read there are over 75 million Wordpress sites in operation. Many big names use Wordpress and most are not aware of it. I believe both the NY Times and Wall Street Journal are WP sites.
They really took over a large share of the market and, like you said, few realize it.
