HOW TO INCREASE YOUR RATING FROM 500 to 1000 overnight- Steem monsters Tips
Hey everyone, good morning I hope you all doing well. Today am going to share with you some information that you may find valuable. Though this will be a quick read as I have to get ready for work in a few, some people could use these tips before the season ends so that they can get more packs by the end of the season. These tips are specifically for the current steemmonster conflict but can be applied in the future. I use these tips last night to increase my rating from <500 to >1000 and qualify for 4 packs at the end of the season(which is in a couple hours)
Tip# 1:
Play according to the rules
Play according to the conflict rules as much as possible. The current conflict rule can be seen in the below image:
So, as shown above, the rules state that melee monsters can attack from any position. This is big in my opinion as melee heroes tend to have more damage and often times are tankier. So, I would recommend adding mostly melee heroes to your team. But you can't just randomly add melee monsters like that, so here is the next tip.
Tip# 2:
Put melee monsters in front that has a special ability
Ok, so next you want to put melee monsters that have special abilities. This is to buy you enough time while you deal massive damage from behind.
Tip# 3:
Always add a support monster
Steemmonsters is a game that relies on strategy, so you can't just do brute force attack and win(well maybe but, only if you have stronger cards). My favorite support monster ability is 'weaken' . This ability reduces the enemy health and attack damage for melee monsters and is very effective. So you want to add this to your team if you have a monster that has this ability
Tip# 4:
Position your monsters strategically
This one straight forward but, I still see players putting a range monster on the frontline when the rule doesn't allow it so this tip might help them. Having a range hero on the front line will have no effect as the monster cannot attack from that position. Generally, only melee and magic monsters can attack from the frontline directly.
Also when positioning your monsters you want to consider carefully which hero you put on the backline because monsters with the ability Sneak and Snipe.
So, in short, it's best to also have a monster with a good amount of health on the back line.
And ahh...am late for work now. So, I will add more tips in the future.
But before you go here is a bonus!
Below is my team that I use to increase my rating from 500 to 1000 in about an hour.
