I Joined the Game... Have You?

The Monsters are taking over the blockchain. Have you seen the craze? A new and exciting card game has entered the world of STEEM thanks to the work of @aggroed and @yabapmatt. @STEEMMonsters is a digital collectible trading card game where card ownership and game results are all published and confirmed on the STEEM Blockchain.

How to Join:

Visit https://steemmonsters.com/

To begin, you must purchase a Starter Set which consists of 30 game cards. Starter Set's cost $5 USD, payable in STEEM or SBD using either the STEEMConnect of Vessel gateways.

Once you purchase the Starter Set, you are in the game and you receive 30 cards. You can view your cards in the 'My Collection' section.

What Can You Do?

Once you receive your cards, you're probably wondering what you can do with them... As of now, the @STEEMMonsters cards are in a Pre-Sale phase. Once cards have been distributed there will be a number of activities you can do with them.

Purchase Booster Packs

You can purchase booster packs in order to level up your cards. Each booster pack contains 5 randomly selected cards from the entire set. The more booster packs you get, the better chance you have of finding Legendary ranked cards. You can combine your duplicate cards to gain XP which will lead to new abilities and increased stats.

Market Your Monsters

Once the Pre-Sale is complete, a @STEEMMonsters Marketplace will open which will allow you to buy, sell and trade cards with other users. Packs purchased during the Pre-Sale have a higher chance of finding rare cards, and prices for packs may increase when the pre-sale is complete.

Battle Your Monsters

Once the Pre-Sale is finished, there will be @STEEMMonsters tournaments. STEEM, SBDs, Upvotes, Cards, and Card Packs are some of the possible prizes for tournament contestants. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of card packs will be used to fund the tournament prizes. Cards will gain XP from participating in the tournaments, whether they win or lose.
