On of the best things about decentralized collectible games is that you can trade them to make profit. The best way to make money by trading is to buy cheap cards to sell them for profit later. But keep in mind that trading cards can lose you money because of the crazy percentage of trading fees set by steemmonsters (5%).Though I'm against it but money made with trading fees goes to the tournament pool and development. For example if you buy 1 usd worth of card and sell it then you'll lose 10% of your money which is insane. If you want to trade without fees then you can try trading with players which is less reliable.
