SteemMonsters: Is it worthwhile trying to do the Daily Quest?

Hello SteemMonsters fans.

Another day, another opportunity to battle your monsters in the SteemMonsters arena -> exciting. 😎

After you have purchased your Starter pack (remember to use my ref link: https://steemmonsters.com/?ref=sm-master), you can head off to the Arena and BATTLE BATTLE BATTLE.

Very recently the game introduced daily quests, where you have to win 10 battles with a specific Splinter - the idea is to get players to vary which Splinter they use and therefore spread out the game play - and if you succeed, you get 1x Booster Pack.

Today I have been trying to pass the daily quest. I started with a relatively high points level ~2900, but a rather low team level: level 4 summoner.

So... is it worthwhile trying to do the Daily Quest? Well, I have been getting matched with much better and higher level teams and getting smashed lol

My Conclusion: It is possible to win matches and therefore meet the daily quest, but you need a great all round deck and high levels for most of your cards - otherwise it is just a very hard grind where you lose a lot of points. Trying to do it from just a level 1 team is near impossible - definitely not practical, as the the amount of time and games you lose, and Resource Credits you drop - makes it not worth the effort.
