Former Minority leader of the National Senate. Senator Godswill Akpabio defects officially to the All Progressive Party today and is being recieved at the Ikot Ekpene Stadium. He is being accompanied by the National Party Leader Alhaji Bola Tinubu, The APC National leader Comrade Adams Oshiomole, Special Adviser to the president on budget matters Mr Udoma Udo Udoma and also 35 Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The likes of the present NDDC chairman Obong Nsima Ekere, Nigerian Oil and Gas MD Mr Umana Umana are also present.
