SteemNow.com Update - STEEM Price chart added
Hi Steemians,
I hope you are as excited about Steem's price as I am. To follow the price I've added a nice price chart to SteemNow.com.
The chart shows the price of Steem per hour of the last 3.5 days as published by the Steem witnesses. The green line shows the median price which is used by the Steem blockchain to calculate the payouts. This is also the price you see in the top right corner.

- Click on the price in the top right corner of the page.
- Please clear your browser cache and/or refresh the site if it doesn't work.
Steem price is starting the year nicely, however, i still believe it is a very cheap coin long term.
By this, do you mean you expect it's forming a current bubble that will burst; or, do you mean that it will go the way of BTC long term?
I think I'm clear on it being the former; but, please clarify.

Everyone who's somewhat sane and looks at the crypto market in an objective way will see that it's a bubble. I don't say that steem is overrated, but I'd say so for XRP, MIota, and more
On Binance, they are giving away cars for people who are buying the most of one specific coin.. Those coin prices quadruple.. But it has nothing to do with the value of that coin or the project that is behind that coin..
It's sad, and it will burst. It has to, because only then the real project will stay. Steem being one of them! Great platform!
Whew! I almost thought I was going to have to defend my optimism for the Steem economy :+).

Oh, yes I am very excited about the price! The chart is a great addition to the site, which I use many times per day. It is always open on its own tab in my browser and very well executed. Thank you so much for all you do!

I think in SteemNow author's reward of SBD portion should be added and also, receive of SBD/STEEM from other sources. Then it can show total earning at full scale. However, current price feed is a good addition and I still like the simplicity of it. For more complexity and details one can look into SteemWorld.

Do you know why the price is different to the price on exchanges?
For instance, on your chart it is about $4, but on coinmarketcap it is $8. I know that the witnesses define the price of $4, but how they calculate it? it is very different. Thanks.
Coinmarketcap.com shows the latest Steem price. The price in the top right corner of Steemnow.com (and the green line on the chart) is the median price of the last 3.5 days.

Hi @penguipablo,Something wrong for the past 12 hours or so, not sure if you are aware. I am sure it is just a glitch!!! It is not loading for us since last night around 11pm (GMT+7)
P.S. LOVE your steemnow tool we use it ALL the time it is ACE.
If it still doesn't work you can try to select another node in settings (the top right corner).
I tried a few different nodes. The chart still isn't loading for me :(
