In principle I am not in favor of banning, censorship, rejection etc. But is it right to use the term censorship in private sphere? Censorship is something that only public institutions as governments can do. Otherwise, I agree that Steem cannot be censored by governments, unless they try to do that by some tech.
I think many will agree that private companies like facebook and twitter is performing censorship. Steem is a blockchain that is censorship resistent, atleast on the text, a huge improvement over all other centralized services.
Yes many, including me can agree that private companies are performing actions similar to government censorship. But we also have freedom to choose which companies we want to use and which communities we wish to join.
Yes, but with blockchain, we hold the keys !
