Sister

Lately I have been trying to play with contrasts. White highlights on a dark fields of nothingness. The images can be very striking although at times they feel like they are missing something.

Metaphor

I think it reflects a current feeling of life I have at the moment. Lots of stark contrasts. A few highlights here and there, a darkness consuming the rest. If I can only remind myself to pull back for a moment, take a look at the big picture instead. See the shape things are taking and let life fill in the rest.
