Five reasons to write about yourself

It makes sense to write about yourself, a friend asked me in the chat. I didn't hesitate in my answer: Yes. I'll tell you the reasons.

First. Steemit is a community of people

Steemit is a great social network. It's true that we don't see each other, nor can we touch each other, but if we read each other and in the chats we can also listen to each other.
Behind each @ there is a person who echoes our opinions. I'm not going to deny it, I'm not that naive; but the vast majority are real people; although some like to use pseudonyms.

In a community of people it is logical that the human part of each is a subject of interest to a good part of the audience. It is those traits of humanity that connect us to each other.

Second: We all learn from experiences

Each one of us has had a journey through life, the younger the less, the older the more. We are permanently obliged to solve problems, to face unforeseen, novel situations. Each one of them generates a great volume of information that is kept inside each one of us. A treasure box full of the best data that can be found, those of the experiences, waiting for the right moment to go outside.

Writing about yourself is the best way to get all that information. Any own experience can serve as a map to guide the other in the solution of a problem, in the suggestion of some ideas on how to improve a performance, in the accompaniment during an emotional time. Human beings are created to share, to give and to receive. Personal growth is not a solitary process, it is necessarily tied to the relationship with others. The more you share, the more chance you
have to help another and that is highly valued by the universe. So why keep all that to yourself?

Third: You force yourself to improve

The mere fact of writing about yourself places you in a analytical observation mind-set, of attention, of marking distance. It can happen that in the reflection on some situation that has happened to you, you find other perspectives. This is given by rest, on cooling the emotions.

The one who writes is a different person, no longer the one who was obfuscated or upset by an unforeseen and unpleasant event. Now it is another you, with more possibilities of resorting to a restful meditation. It doesn't matter if in your evocation you decide to season your experiences with fiction or fantasy, better. The important thing is that perhaps in this moment, thanks to writing, you will be able to better understand everything that has happened to you and perhaps feel liberated.

Fourth: We keep our creativity active

I've read in many of the posts about downs that occur because of the lack of inspiration. Looking inside you can suggest a lot of topics for reflection. You would be surprised at the amount of topics you can find by looking inside yourself, the possibilities are as infinite as the way of interpreting our life. It can even happen to you that the reasons you find surpass you and you have to draw up an agenda so you dont lose details. Cheer up, put that introspective look to work.

Fifth. Your self-esteem will rise

Most likely when you publish a post, you will receive some feedback. If you don't receive it in the first attempts, don't get discouraged, keep insisting. The comments always arrive and with them the satisfaction that your writing had some impact on the reader. Maybe you got him excited, maybe you gave him an idea or suggested a solution. Whatever the content of the comment, it's likely to give you satisfaction. You will feel that it has been worth the effort you made to make the post concrete. You'll feel like you're in the mood to keep up and keep going.

My recommendation is that you look at steemit as a possibility of developing a set of potentialities that were asleep there. This platform has that merit. The great diversity of people who inhabit the ecosystem makes it mathematically possible for everyone to find followers for their proposals. Be patient, your readers are out there. The trick to get them is to have constancy and dedication.

Be brave. Keep going. Cheers.

Thank you for your time.

I tend to not write too much about myself, but my thoughts.

There's always something about us that can help others. Thank you very much for the visit and the comment, my friend.
