New wiring installed, new NEO coilpacks

Everything has been done for wiring and coils. Unfortunately this took about one month process in order for them to inspect one by one what is the issue. Wiring has been replaced, NEO coils has been put in to replace the previous R33 S1 coils.

 

You can see the ignitor's connector is still there. RB25DET Series 1 requires an ignitor. My friend forgot to take from his home so I don't have a picture for that now. Right now my engine wiring is running the right way that it should from the start, RB25DET NEO coils have individual ignitors, instead of 1 to ignite all like S1.

 

This is how RB25DET NEO coils looks like. The connector is actually the same as RB25DET S1, not S2. S2 has a different position for the ground wire, but the socket is the same. One obvious way you can tell it is a NEO is that you can see there are only two holes to screw, while the S1 coils have 4 holes.

 

All the coils are placed right on top of the engine. I told the mechanic to take off the cover in case of anything happens again, we don't have to manually take out the intake piping on the top just to remove the cover first. We can straight away access the coils and the spark plug with ease.

The bad news is this still does not solve the issue that I'm currently facing, which is my engine is struggling to rev higher once the turbo kicks in, kinda feels like a machine gun and the engine vibrating all the way up with struggle.

My next check will be the spark plug, the fuel pressure, air fuel ratio and boost meter. It is always good to do the easy ones first before checking on the major components like fuel injectors, fuel line, fuel pump or even boost leaks.
