    Thanks so much @carolkean. Oh, and from what I understand, it isn't the "value" of your vote that influences my Reputation, it is the fact that you've got a much higher Reputation than I have which influences my Rep. I'm really not too concerned about the "making money" side of these #steemprogress posts. While the post payout earnings are nice, it is the influence on my Rep that I'm really after, and that is a much harder thing to pin down. I'm still not exactly sure that I understand the algorithm for that.

    Also, I totally get what you mean about the "dust" issue. I'm really not in favour of anything that I have to pay for to earn me money here. That's why I also don't use paid-for bidbots and upvotebots. I'm even opposed to the concept of enforced upvotes and resteems to enter competitions etc. If I choose to upvote or resteem, that should be my own freewill choice as a way to promote their activity, not a requirement to be involved. I know that my #SteemMonsters guild captain, @o07, is very strong on this point, and is working hard to clean up Steem of this type of activity. I'm still weak-willed and feeble enough to turn a blind eye to this behaviour and let it slide, even though I'm opposed to it, because: FOMO. 😆

    I'm with you on contests that require upvotes and resteems! And I don't understand "dust" or bots or anything. I just keep upvoting like there's no end in sight... good luck with your mission!

      As far as I know, all my upvotes are 100%, but sadly are worth 0.01 or less. *sigh
      They used to be higher, when Steem was higher.
      Also, the "dust" post tries to explain how I'm "throwing away" upvotes - but I sneezed and missed the techno details. *Sigh #2
