[Last time...]
“Blood an’ piss an’ black muck!” It cursed in a small harsh voice, “Pick me up! Pick me up an' lit me be yoors! Feel mah tooch sailur!”
Strong waves of attracting romantic emotion mixed with sexual arousal swept over the Captain’s mind! He quickly looked away!
“Curse yer deception ye Devil’s bitch! Ahh knows who ye are…Oshun!!”
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
[Victoria, Seychelles…]
The sloop quickly left the palace grounds to the south and swept northward across the backwater, past the outlet leading to the North Bay and on into a narrow canal winding its way through the city of Victoria!
Back at the palace, Captain Husam joined his men out on the rear palace grounds as the warriors watched the mast of the sloop disappear into the tree-lined canal to the north.
“Captain Sir, he’s getting away! That canal is too narrow for our ship to follow!” The lead warrior exclaimed.
“Let him get away. He has lost the kingdom…and it is now mine!” Husam said triumphantly as he crossed his arms and gazed north over the backwater.
The lead guard’s face seem to transform in a moment and he turned to the others as he spoke, “Kneel men! Kneel and hail the new King of Seychelles!”
All of the warriors knelt before Husam and pledged their loyalty. Husam himself was basking in the moment, his eyes seeing visions of grander, his smile, sinister and self-satisfied…

[City ay Aden, Yemen…]

The keeper of the birds rushed down the tower stairs and burst into the Lord Jinn’s reception hall…
“Lord! Lord! We have received a bird from very far off! The poor creature is exhausted and seems near death! The message has the seal of Seychelles on it!”

The Lord Jinn quickly stood-up as he he heard the news, and beckoned the man to come forth…
“It must be from Captain Husam! He has finally positioned the fleet in the bay of Victoria!” The Lord Jinn surmised.

“But Lord, this was not one of our birds...” The keeper replied as he nervously rolled the scroll between his hands.
“What?!”
“The message came in on the neck of a bird of the palace of King Radwan…”

“Hmmm, that is strange…open the seal and read me the message at once!” the Lord Jinn demanded as he sat back down stroking his chin.
“Lord, Captain Husam would never use the messenger pigeon of a foreign power?!” The Jinn’s mistress said suspiciously.
“Silence! Let the man read!”
The bird keeper cleared his throat as he broke the seal and unraveled the scroll…
“Dear Lord Jinn,
My Palace is under attack! Many are dead! We have been betrayed by your Captain- Husam! He sailed into the bay of Victoria with only one Dhow ship and immediately waged war against my palace! I’m afraid all is lost! I flee by boat with what little soldiers I have left! The Kingdom of Seychelles has fallen!
In desperate need..."
King Radwan
The Lord Jinn jumped back up off of his thrown!
“What devilry is this?!! Betrayed by Husam?! Unthinkable!!!" He ranted as he clenched his fists in rage!
“Lord, how could Captain Husam have arrived in Victoria with just one war Dhow? We have nine ships in our fleet!” The Commander of the Jinn's army questioned.
“If we had nine ships... then Captain Husam would have arrived in Victoria with nine ships! You fool! You allowed Husam to take three quarters of your army with him!...You have been duped, and now we have little defence!” The Jinn’s mistress quipped in anger as she stood up and pointed a condemning finger at the Commander!

“Silence! Silence all of you!” The Lord Jinn yelled as he pressed his hands against his head, “I have to think! I have to think!!!”
