I think it same with Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram of people like they vote like. But on steemit ia different, it need cost to upvote :)
Here on Steemit, we're only allowed about Eleven 100% Up-Votes per day... I try to only do a couple of those every Four Hours... I've fallen so far behind, that I have to set my Up-Votes to 40% until I catch up...

It will also help you, if you click on "Settings" and return to the 50% SBD's and 50% STEEM Rewards... You will end up with much more Steem this way...
