We don't need alchemy we yust print paper and write on it "This paper is worth 1 ton of gold" and sell it with an equivalent price of 990 kg of gold. Then The price of Gold will fall because everyone selling ther gold to get the cheaper papergold.And then you have more Gold if you hold the paper instead of the heavy metal. People in the past looked for for alchemy to make Gold because they were stupid. Now everbody now it's more easy to yust print paper and increase gold supply 100 fold. And it works nobody wants to have this stupid Gold anymore because there is millions of tons available supply. Gold is really worthless. Modern alchemy indeed.
Until people wake up to the fact that they only have paper, then that gold disappears faster than a ice cream in the summer heat.
