Sorry to hear that things aren't working out quite as you expected. I hope you're able to get your plans sorted out and that you've able to move forward in a positive way, regardless of whether or not you choose to stay active on Steemit for now.
Thanks boss! I do plan to stay active here. I've met some great people and learned a bunch. Like most things in life, it's about managing one's expectations and adjusting accordingly.
Adjusting your expectations can be a painful process. It's important though because otherwise you'll constantly be in a state of feeling like something is wrong. That's no way to live. I've been adjusting expectations on a few things recently and I think it's giving me a more positive outlook. It's not what I wanted, but it's the way things are and I can't change them... so lower the bar and move on.
