Happy Birthday, Welsh! That's an accomplishment to stick around for a year here. There has been a lot of turnover and many people that we previously interacted with are gone. I'm glad you stuck around.
I think @goldenarms was one of the first to get me plugged in with SSG as well. :)
When the pay outs dried up, some people left. It's never been about the £$€ for me, I love the interactions and friends I've made along the way
I think a lot of people come to steemit with wrong expectations. If they come expecting to interact with friends (and get paid a little bit), then they should do well.
If they come expecting to get paid a ton of money, then they probably won't do as great because they're likely to be disappointed.
I'm glad that you're in it for the friendships and not just the money. We'll probably see you on here for years.
