1825 George IV sovereign: a real beauty

Highly cherished old coins are truly treasured possessions for the exceptional collector, offering a unique blend of historical significance, aesthetic appeal, and rarity that sets them apart from more common numismatic finds. These coins often hold a special place in collections due to their age, condition, and the stories they tell about past eras and cultures.
For collectors who seek a deep connection to history, these coins provide an unparalleled opportunity to own a piece of the past. Whether it's a coin from a bygone empire or a specimen that has been meticulously preserved over centuries, each one is a testament to the enduring allure of numismatics.

Is it me, or are modern day coin designs really shit compared tocthe beauty and elegance of our older coinage. Engravers really put time and effort in to creating the most wonderful and stunning designs, that a nation could be proud to use as circulating currency.
The 1825 gold sovereign is no expection, and for me, is an amazin looking coin, both on anscreen andnin-hand.
It's just a great shame we dont make them like this anymore...
