In there he talks about the difference between #steemsilvergold and @ssg-community and that the 2 should not be confused for the same.
Steemsilvergold is the "community" and @ssg-community is an account created to help its members.
@SSG-COMMUNITY IS THE ONLY ACCOUNT CREATED FOR, AND RUN FOR, THE PEOPLE OF STEEMSILVERGOLD.
We have had other accounts but they no longer support #steemsilvergold community. @ssg-community is also a NOT FOR PROFIT account and returns all value back to its members and takes nothing for itself, unlike other upvote bots.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE @SSG-COMMUNITY WHEN YOU ARE A PART OF #STEEMSILVERGOLD
I'll say that again - You do NOT need to use @ssg-community when you are a part of #steemsilvergold, but you do need to be a member of #steemsilvergold to use @ssg-community.
So any person that think that steemsilvergold is just about "vote swapping" needs to understand this. @ssg-community was set up to help the members of ssg and that is all. It does not take anything from them. You can use @ssg-community or NOT that is up to you.

Last week, I scanned through many Posts from the Steem Silver Gold Community Members... I made many Replies and gave many Up-Votes... I earned .020 STEEM POWER, for Seven (7) Days, that didn't even Register ONE CENT on my Account Value... lol... This tells me a lot about the Steem Silver Gold Community... What I have to say, means very little to most of them... How much is this Comment worth to them...??? That's if they're even reading it... Many just do their Token Automatic Votes, but never Comment... I have over 113 Comments on my last post that no one ever reads... Sorry... Sometimes I need to Vent... lol...

Always welcome to rant here buddy. I'm not even dishing out $0.01 at the mo, but you're welcome to it.
The trouble I see, is that no one has very much Steem Power to Vote with... It's all Delegated out, or is being used to buy their own Up-Votes... And if they do have Steem Power, I might get a 3% UP-Vote... lol... It's very discouraging, to say the least...
Try changing your content @pocketchange... i’ve said it before, but allow me to illustrate: if i posted pictures of the very same coin every time i posted i could not, in good faith, expect anyone to be interested. Steemit, and ssg specifically, is a content driven platform, which, fair or not, rewards people for interesting and diverse approaches to precious metals and “money” more widely. Your PC theory is, truly, an interesting concept — especially given the constitutional right of the US gov’t to coin its own money — but with all due respect, it is just one possible way that the US will try to tackle its debt problem.
To be clear, if i posted everytime about quantitative easing as being the only way forward, i wouldn’t expect anyone to be that interested. But do as you wish my friend, and may good fortune follow your convictions.

Exactly! With pain in my eyes I noticed that our bot has to self-vote occasionaly as - apparantly - not enough posts are made by delegating members. At least this way the steem remains in the bot.
I am hoping that this a temporary measure and that members will come back and start posting soon. We (welsh and ssuk) have talked about this and will be looking to increase members voting % if this carries on much longer, thus increasing upvote $$$.
As ive always said, finding that fine line between giving the best upvote possible and maintaining a decent VP is tricky. If we were to increase voting %'s prematurely and more people start posting again then VP would plummet. Looks like March should be a good month for the members that continue to post.

Its been a little slow lately, but I am hoping that it will pick back up. I know I am just as guilty only posting 3 or 4 times a week, but the boring winter season is almost gone and I will finally have some better stuff to write about. Hopefully! Haha!
