The problem lies with the image servers of Steemit. Unfortunately, some frontends do not display the images because they are not on Steemit’s whitelist. There have been issues because some people abused the image server’s proxy. Unfortunately, my frontend is also affected, which is why the images are not displayed there either. I will now cache everything I publish through it separately on my own image server.
