Steph Curry Hits 10 Three-Pointers in Return from Ankle Injury

Steph Curry returned from his 11-game absence due to an injured ankle on Saturday night as the Golden State Warriors welcome the Memphis Grizzlies to Oracle Arena.
The two-time MVP didn’t disappoint his home crowd as he picked up right where he left off scoring seven points in the first frame. Fellow “Splash Brother” Klay Thompson fed off his point-guard’s return leading the Warriors in the first quarter with 14 points which aided the team to a 40-38 lead. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, looked to limit his returning point guard to action resting Curry until the six minute mark in the quarter. Curry matched Thompson’s 14 point quarter with a 14 point second quarter, finishing the half with 21 points on 5-6 from beyond the arc helping the Warriors take a 78-67 lead into the locker room.
Coming out of halftime, Curry continued his assault on the Grizzlies lighting up the court for another 14 points in the third quarter sinking all four of his 3-point attempts as the Warriors extended their lead to 116-98. With the game pretty much in hand, Curry sat most of the fourth quarter until Kerr subbed him back in for one last highlight.
Curry brought the ball down the court and put on a dribbling display after Marc Gasol was switched on to defend Curry. After numerous shot fakes and phantom drives to the basket, Gasol turned around as Curry finished off the dazzling display of skills with his tenth 3-pointer of the game, finishing off the Grizzlies in a 141-128 victory.
Curry finished with 38 points on 10-13 shooting from distance, playing only 26 minutes. Thompson and Kevin Durant finished with 21 and 20 points, respectively, to aid in Curry’s return. Gasol led the Grizzlies with 27 points and 8 rebounds along with Tyreek Evans who finished with 22 points and 9 assists.

Stephen Curry is definitely one of the best basket ball players currently, he has everything you can ever ask of a point guard with no major weaknesses.
Stephen Curry and the golden state team deserve every single accolade they have gotten and they look set to dominate the next couple of years as well
It’s great to see Curry back! Everybody has all their attention on Lebron but believe it or not Curry is definitely up there. The only disadvantage Curry has is his ability to drive, but other than that he proves to be a top player in the NBA.
