The PGA Tour heads back to Florida for the Valspar Championship at Copperhead at Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor near Tampa.

Jordan Spieth (8-1) enters this week’s event as the favorite. Jordan has three top 10 finishes in seven starts this season. This is his fourth trip to this event. He won this event in 2016 but chose not to defend his title last year and looks to build off his past success this week.

Rory McIlroy (14-1) has come out of the gates slow in his PGA Tour season and looks to improve in this week’s event, his fourth of the season. He does have a second-place finish on the European PGA Tour at the Dubai Desert Classic back at the end of January. This is his first trip to Copperhead and looks to use his length to overpower this course, which usually rewards good ball striking.

Sergio Garcia (16-1) is playing in his third consecutive event on tour. He enters this week in decent form after finishing seventh in last week’s World Golf Championships in Mexico. Garcia hasn’t played in this event since 2013 where he finished in seventh place. With ball-striking being his strength, he should bode well once again this week.

Tiger Woods (25-1) is looking to build off his early successes this season. Tiger has played in four events this year, making three cuts and finishing the Honda Classic in twelfth, two weeks ago. This is Tiger’s inaugural attempt to win the Valspar Championship.
