None is dominant, they both have their functions to attend to
And if a lobe of the brain is removed, then the individual is left with just one brain lobe, which is neither left nor right. That one lobe adjusts itself to perform lots of functions, and memory is retained.
Oh... It won't have a position attribute anymore. Just a brain lobe performing integrated functions of former left and right hemispheres.
