It's early morning ...
... and the blue butterfly is resting on the dry grass ...

... the cicada larvae has changed her appearance a few hours earlier, in the dark near dawn ...
( Enlargeable )... the remains of that transformation are now beautifully translucent like a sophisticated amber sculpture of an extraterrestrial visitor ...
... a snail is hurrying across the small dusty road, seeking shelter before the day becomes really hot ... it has spent the fresh, humid night slowly feeding on the open, but now its time to put in use some snail speed, the sun is still emitting a gentle yellow gold ... but soon there will be white heat in the summer air ...

... has just caught a pray ... even this dramatic scene of a killing ...
... is somehow made look idyllic by the golden magic of the morning sunlight ...
... the bumblebee is enjoying the nectar-filled breakfast ...

... a mammoth wasp ... this one I photographed in the evening ... I remember the occasion ... there was a party on the beach ... and while wandering around with a joint, I came across the wasp, it eas very calm, preparing for the night rest and so I had a good opportunity for a shot ...
