RE: Demystifying the popular myth that individuals are dominated by either their right or left brain hemisphere
I was left-handed as a kid, but I was forcefully "corrected" by elders to start using right. Now, I'm right-handed, I have always wondered what would be if I had continued using my left.
That is mere superstition. What if you are supposed to be the next Obama and they stopped that by forcing you to be right handed ..lol.. just kidding
I wouldn't advise anybody to change their default handedness setting though
Yeah, the crazy tradition that left is not so good.
Bizarre how this seems to be a global thing. Even I and my friend both had this treatment. You can tell because I still play pool/snooker left handed and other little quirks like that showing I naturally go left. Very strange form of discrimination
The superstitious belief that left is evil, as a child you may get smacked for accepting a gift with a left hand :(
Crazy... I can't think why in England. Maybe just as simple as convenience when teaching... But we used to get forced to have our knife and fork in the correct hands over lunch time...
Yes, the etiquettes or table manners must be enforced :)
England?? I was thinking the issue of forcing kids to use their right hand was peculiar to Africa alone
@mobbs, you happen to be one of those few individuals on planet earth that has a mind of their own. What about millions of other individuals that strictly believe whatever they were made to believe as kids
I think it's a mind thing, will power has a lot to do with this
