Everest is not the highest place on the planet, with respect to the center of the earth

Although Everest is the highest site with respect to sea level, with a height of 8,848 meters, it is not the furthest site from the center of the earth. Everest has an altitude of 6,263.47 meters with respect to the center of the earth, and taking that into account is not the highest, it is more, nor is it in second place.

The first place is awarded to the Chimborazo volcano in Ecuador, with an altitude of 6,384.4 meters, leaving Everest behind.

The second place is taken by a neighbor of Chimborazo, Pico Huascaran, in Peru, who is only 40 meters below his rival.

All this is due? To the shape of the earth, since it is wider by the equator, and everything that is found in this region is 21 kilometers higher than at the poles (with respect to the center of the earth)

Pretty cool post mate!

Just a quick FYI, you can add hyperlinks to text like this

By doing the following

"[this] (https://www.google.com.au/search?q=this&oq=this&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60l2j69i59l3.623j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8)" -> but remove the space between the [] and the ()..."

Aside from that, a really interesting post. Love seeing this great content in steemstem

Thank you very much for your comment, and especially for your advice! I was looking for a way to compress the hyperlinks so that it looks more aesthetic, I thank you very much
