3 Scientific Discoveries to Make You Say "WOW, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!!"

Introduction
This is not my normal type of science post, I won't be presenting a topic but instead I want to talk about briefly about 3 discoveries that could have a great deal of significance. I'll give you an overview of the discovery, then abit of the science, and some possible consequences. This post is will challenge some beliefs and theories but we will tackle from a scientific point of view.
Remember as scientists or enthusiasts, you must be prepared to ask questions. Not even our Professors or teachers know everything, there is so much as Humans we have left to learn, we have only reached the beginning of what the Universe has to offer. It's only the last, what 600 years that science has evolved rapidly. Yeah our ancestors were fantastic astronomers based on things like Stone-Henge and the alignment of the Pyramids with Orions Belt, but it's only the last 600 years that mathematics and physics really started to develop, look how far we have come in the last 100 years, our capabilities as scientists and researchers has only just opened up.
Correct me if I am wrong, but before something was discovered nobody had any idea about it. For example Sir Isaac Newton with Gravity, Einstein predicted Black Holes in 1916 as a solution to his equations of General Relativity and first observed by Astronomer John Wheeler in 1967. Before the discoveries no one had any idea about them, so when something sounds crazy at first give it some thought, especially if an experienced scientist in his field suggests something. For these scientists they have thought long and hard about there idea, modelled it and sometimes tested it, We must do dismiss something at the first exposure.
I became a scientist as a result of having a deep fascination of unusual theories, so now having my knowledge I feel I can discern between strong theory and BS. However like I said, I am not an expert either.
I finished my little speech, I just wanted to share it, I hope you think it's a reasonable approach too. Now let's getting you going "WOW".
Solar System Moving Into A Highly Magnetic Region Of Space
In this image you can see the Sun at the center of the blue sphere which is the termination shock boundary, with a heliopause and a bow shock. This is a "zoomed out" illustration of our solar system.
In the picture above you can see a model of our Solar System at a larger scale. The termination shock boundary represents the position when the plasmonic solar winds reach speeds less than the speed of sound due to the pressure of external medium. The heliopause is the boundary that contains the solar wind, the interstellar medium creates a bubble that the solar winds are contained within.
Now the crazy thing I want to mention is that there is strong evidence to suggest [1] [2] that the solar system is moving into a region of the galaxy where the interstellar medium is much hotter than our local current position. In fact measurements have suggested that the temperature of the hydrogen gas is about 6200 Celsius, which is hot enough to melt steel by a lot.
This makes me ask some questions! The Sun has a strong relationship with it's surround medium, even though distance scales are huge for us. Is this highly energetic region effecting our Sun? What effects could it have? The Sun is a giant ball of plasma fusing hydrogen to make helium and producing light, but what are the effects of a higher energetic surrounding of something like our Sun? There's evidence of planetary change if you look hard enough, could this be another factor why our Planet is heating up? Is the Sun interacting stronger with the other planets?
For the moment you're not going to cook in 6,200 degree heat, our heliopause protects us, but what effect is it having on the behaviour of our Sun?
Plant Perception - The Backster Effect
Most people will be familiar of a lie detector. They detect the electrical impulses in the skin and plot the real time results on a polygraph. Well a man called Cleve Backster who worked in the CIA as an interrogation specialist decided to expand his work and detect he electrical impulses of the plant by connecting the electrodes to the leaves. It's detects the electrical resistance of the leaf. His primary discovery that led him into further research was that as he watered the plant it would plot a polygraph, something surprised him, he states that:
"the tracing began to show a pattern typical of the response you get when you subject a human to emotional stimulation of short duration".
I'll give you some more examples. When he decided to cut a leaf off the plant, it reacted on the polygraph, in fact it showed to distant peaks in electrical activity. The first occurred at the moment Backster decided in his mind to cut the leaf, and the second when he cut it. Somehow the plant preempted that it would be damaged and reacted physiologically. Another surprising reaction was when he poured boiling water down the sink killing the bacteria, it could be a coincidence but very strange none the less.
You have to remember that from a scientific point of view to make to understand if this is true or not it must be studied. I'm not making a conclusion on this but I think that with the evidence [3] that provides it's something that could be studied further. For those interested you can find information available, Backsters books and reports of his work.
Black Hole Schwartzchild Proton

Nassim Haramein is an Amateur physicist that works with a group of credited physicists that has surprisingly really caught my attention with his work and theories. I seriously recommend this to any physicists reading this or people that have understanding of maths and physics.
This is the abstract of the physics paper he wrote called "The Schwartzchild Proton".
In this paper he derives classically and provides strong evidence that the proton fulfils the conditions of being a black hole! The most surprising thing is that if you model the proton as a black hole, then get two of these protons to orbit each other Gravitationally at one radius of the proton at the speed of light, you find something remarkable. The period of rotation is exactly the value we give a fundamental constant of nature, the strong nuclear force. Let me repeat, by saying the proton is a black hole, with a gravitational model you get the strong nuclear force. I've read the paper and it's interesting, and he derives it with credibility and clear points. I'm not the worlds leading expert, but this is fascinating. I also give his work more credence due to his other papers. In the reference link you will see his website, and easily find the other papers he has written. Please take a look.
Conclusion
I hope I have sparked your interest here, these quite different topics I have mentioned serious theories, and were proposed by serious scientists that believe in their work. There's lots of fantastic theories in the world of science, some are proved wrong, and others lead to profound discoveries. I hope with this article I have sparked your curiosity. Science is the key to our future. So I think as scientists we should always consider the facts and evidence proposed and if we are not sure to study the theory and make our own decision.
I would love to hear other peoples view so leave your comments or thoughts, I would appreciate it. Until the next time.........

This is an informative post. I haven't thought this about. U made a cocktail of biology, atomic & quantum physics(related deeply) and astrophysics 3 of 'em. Thanks for something like these. Keep posting. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for your kind comment. I'm sure you'll see more interesting articles like this is the future!
Looking forward to that.
Great! I like this post and I am grateful for your explanations as I am no scientist myself (I studied law and economics). You might be surprised that I knew discovery 2 and 3 already. But I haven't heard of discovery number 1 before!
ad discovery 3:
I listened to many of Nassim Haramein's shows and find him a very inspiring person.
ad discovery 2:
Do you know that some scientists at Damanhur, Italy, study plant communication and make the communication of plants hearable. They are said to be quite advanced already.
ad discovery 1:
So we will pass a grill corner of the universe - when? next year, in thousand years?
Are you acquainted with the thoughts of Dieter Broers? http://www.awakeinthedream.net/en/interviews/interview-partner/9-english/featured-interview-partner/31-dieter-broers
Looking forward to read more of your posts.
I'm very happy to learn you already knew about 2 & 3, now I understand you are open minded and this makes me happy. Nassim Haramein is very cool, and to me he makes sense, his argeuments and clear and hold quite a lot of weight in my opinion. I'm going to look at the scientists of Damanhur, so thank you for that valuable information.
Regarding your questions for point 3, I don't know of his work but i took a quick look at what he referes too. Now I must be careful of what I say on here as I am trying to stay on the side of "accepted science theories". However the reason I mentioned point 3 was exactly what Dieter refers too, I see fractals everywhere, and I think the sun could behave like an atom with energy levels. Let's hope what these people say is true, I am hoping so!
