RE: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN OUR BRAIN BEGINS TO LOSE IT'S MEMORY
Painful thing is I've experienced this before, when my grandma was diagnosed with memory loss and dementia. Wasn't easy at all. She used to be someone who never forgets anything, and I got to wonder if excessive usage of the memory, can leave someone with late years memory loss. Can it?
@realjosh no one can say for sure if excessive usage of the brain can lead to memory loss but age do play a very important factor.
As we grow old, our brain including the hippocampus begins to shrink in size causing us to have less n less synapses.
What one can do is to slow down the memory loss process as we age. Maybe I'll touch on this in another article!
