WHEN YOU CONVERT SBD TO STEEM.
i have noticed that when you want to convert all steem dollars to steem you have to put the amount youself , there is no balance feature on there!
unlike converting all your steem to steem power ,just click on balance and its all in there.
is there any reason for that ?

Probably not yet implemented, should be an easy fix.
Just like when you initiate a conversion the SD also disappear from your account without a trace until a week later when they are back converted to STEEM.
Yes the fact that the SD disappear is a bit scary. I'm still not at a week since converting and I'm relying on blind faith!
They are not gone, they just need to implement status tracking that shows you have initiated a transaction.
But using the built-in conversion imposes a 7 days delay, you can use an exchange and trade your Steem Dollars turning them into STEEM and sending back to the wallet as STEEM without the extra wait.
Now that's why I love this place. Good answer and good advice!
