Here is a great chance to get a USD-STEEM listing up on Bittrex!

The Bittrex Twitter account has put up a call for suggestions for a USD pairing, and it would be great to have a direct fiat gateway to STEEM!

Why would this be important?

1. Well, consider that a direct USD-STEEM pathway means that there is less faffing around with going via another crypto-currency (BTC/ETH/LTC or whatever).. This reduces the amount of friction that people have for investing into STEEM. Less friction, means that there is the potential for increased investor interest.
2. People are interested in the new listings. If STEEM manages to secure a new USD pairing on such a widely known and trusted exchange, we will have new eyeballs taking a look at what sort of ecosystem and community we have here! After all, we have one of the most diverse communities in any chain that I have seen!
3. ... which brings me to my last point, we have a wide range of people here on STEEM. In fact, there are many many people here who just don't have a great deal of technical interest or experience with crypto-currencies in general. Having a direct fiat gateway to their preferred chain of choice would be incredibly beneficial for them. Both to reinvest into STEEM or to be able to get real life usage from their STEEM activities. Those payout numbers at the bottom would be possible to turn into real tangible rewards, and not some theoretical reward (because they don't know how to safely get the STEEM into fiat...).

So, here is my call out to anyone who has a Twitter account and can write something that is persuasive and interesting that might catch the eye of the Bittrex people! You can see my attempt at the top of this post... I'm afraid I'm tired and I'm not really experienced with the Twitter limitations, so it's not really my best work!
