A STEEM VIDEO :- How I Celebrated the festival of Basant Panchami

Today is the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami, on which we prepare sweet rice, which is traditionally yellow in color. On this day, yellow-colored food is prepared in every household, such as sweet rice and tahari (a rice dish), and we all wear yellow clothes. We worship Goddess Saraswati and offer her this sweet rice as prasad (offering), praying that she bless us all with wisdom and grant our children and families a good education. This is because Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of knowledge.

On Basant Panchami, our women's group organized a tahari feast. We all partook of the prasad, and the women also distributed it to others. Everyone received the prasad of Goddess Saraswati. The event organized by the women's group was a great success, and we all had a lot of fun and took many pictures.
