Saw the River Ganges from the train.

I was traveling to Rajasthan by train with my family. As the train was about to reach Kanpur—where the River Ganges flows—we all made a wish and tossed a coin into the river as we crossed over it.

The Ganges is considered the holiest of all rivers. We use its water—known as Gangajal—in our religious rituals and prayers. It is regarded as extremely sacred and is used to purify homes and sanctify any undertaking. Seeing the Ganges from the train was a beautiful sight; I offered my salutations, made a wish, and prayed to Mother Ganges to fulfill everyone's heartfelt desires.
