Hi guys welcome to Cookingvlog in 2026, it's been awhile but we are still on it, let me take you through on how I prepare this simple steps mushroom soup.
Mushroom is one of the best meal one could ever think of, it is a class of edible fungi. Packed with nutrients and it's very healthy to the body.
Mushrooms are delicious meal nature has given us, they can be raised by farmers or some grows naturally. Also note that not all mushrooms are edible, so always be careful when you see mushroom growing in the bush.
Mushroom doesn't need a special method or recipe, however you prepare it, mushroom are nice on any recipes, it flavours and appearance makes meal appetizing.
If you haven’t been eating mushrooms on a regularly basis, then let me be your plug, I will give you different recipes of mushrooms either in stew, soup, sauce etc.
Let me give you this simple recipe of mushrooms
Ingredients
- Mushroom
- Okro
- Meat
- Crayfish
- Pepper
- Palm oil
- Seasoning to taste
- Salt to taste
- Aduza leaf

Mis en place ingredients
Washed the mushroom and added it to the pot, steamed it for some time.
Added already steamed meat to the pot and cover it to simmer for some time
At this point I added crayfish and every other ingredients like palm oil, cubes, salt, pepper and allow it to simmer.
Added okro, prawns and leaf then allow to simmer for 2 minutes then the soup is done
It can go with rice, fufu swallow, garri swallow or any other thing.
