The Diary Game || 1ST DAY OF THE MONTH IN CHURCH AND HUSTLING FOR DAILY BREAD || 01/09/2026

Every day is a special day, but don't forget your daily hustling and the daily bread make it even better

Happy blessed new month to all my fellow Steemians. I am @freshgrace, I'm so excited and appreciative to God for the gift of life, His mercy, and love toward all of us.

Every new month comes with a deep sense of resolution for the month, looking back on how far the last month has been. To the religious adherents, prayers specifically for the new month are offered. Some Christian denominations like the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria do not miss the 1st day of the month service called “Fresh Anointing Service or Morning Dew”.

I woke up immediately, and my alarm rang at 5am and started preparing to go to church for the first day of the month Fresh Anointing Service. I called other members of our church who live along my street, and we left to get to the church before 6am. The service commenced immediately, and we took our time to thank God and continued to intercede for God's protection and grace to go through the new month without fear. It was also an avenue to hand over the state of the country (Nigeria) and the entire world for peace to rule supreme. We know the terrorists attacks in the Nigeria, the global war, especially the United States 🇺🇸 , Israel 🇮🇱 , Iran 🇮🇷 problem, the Russia 🇷🇺 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 that is still a major concern.

The prayer was necessary, and we all left fulfilled spiritually and physically to begin the month of September. From the church, there was no need to go home, I went straight to work on the site that I am supervising building construction. This time, drilling of borehole and plumbing the whole building were the target before 6th of September, 2026. These works must be completed.

The borehole was drilled days before yesterday, I told them to hold on until I come to inspect the materials before the pump and pipes installation. Last week , we mounted the water tank stand. While I was monitoring the process of installing the borehole, I also asked the plumber to go to the market for materials, including the purchase of two (2) water tanks of 2000 liters each. Plumbing materials like the pipes, toilet seats, and other components to cover three (3) self-contained apartments and a 1 bed room flat we bought and transported to the site.

I virtually spent the whole day supervising the whole work because tenants who had paid money are packing into the house on or before 6th September. I give my best not just for the money I will make from the job but keeping my reputation while delivering to satisfy my clients.

I will end this write-up with the popular biblical allusion from Prov.22.29 “Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.” My experiences have taught me to be dedicated and sincere with my work. If you work well, you eat well and have more clients calling you for work.
