Lucky-the story of a baby doggie

It was a crisp autumn day when my wife and I set out on a road trip, eager to explore the countryside. We stopped to wander through a small, quiet village, surrounded by golden leaves and the gentle chill of the season. That's when we heard it—a faint, desperate cry, barely audible over the rustling wind.

We followed the sound and found her: a tiny newborn puppy, lying alone in the cold. Her umbilical cord was still attached, meaning she had just come into this world—and had already been abandoned. She was shivering, her cries growing weaker in the biting wind.

Without a second thought, we cut our trip short. We couldn't leave her there. We wrapped her up, drove her home, and became her unexpected guardians.

That first night, we had no milk, no bottle, no idea what we were doing. But we couldn't let her go hungry. My wife boiled some rice and strained it carefully, making a thick, warm rice water—the only thing we could offer. Drop by drop, we fed her with a tiny spoon, praying it would be enough.

The next day, we ordered goat milk and a small nursing bottle online. When they finally arrived, we prepared her first real meal. The video I'm sharing is from that moment—her first time drinking from a bottle, tiny paws pressing against the warm milk, eyes still closed but trusting us completely.
