Today we are very happy to share with you a great update that comes to Speak on Steem. This update is loaded with improvements in service stability, the bases of what will be the system of plans that will help maintain the platform and the introduction of the Video Watchers team, our allies on the Steem platform that will help us monitor and take care of the integrity of the ecosystem.

It is widely known that currently the Internet is full of Bots that are constantly analyzing each URL to train artificial intelligences, in recent months we were affected with our Pinata Gateway (which is not unlimited) receiving absurd amounts of traffic, which caused slowness and instability.

To solve this root problem we created a cloud cache system linked to a private and local gateway that will serve to serve content in a more agile and efficient way. We use this system mainly in publications that have not been paid, and it consists of pinning the content in an IPFS node installed on the Project server and downloading the file temporarily to a Project folder in order to serve it from there as a normal file and not as one that comes directly from the IPFS network.

Basically with this architecture the path of the request is cut to have the video available in a faster and more agile way. This is especially useful for the vertical content format with Infinite Scroll since getting the video directly from IPFS each time could consume a lot of resources and take a little longer. The system is not yet perfect but it is a good start, currently it is able to cache 15 GB of content, and this parameter can be modified at any time.

To bring the connection to a higher level we have enabled the possibility of commenting with videos to the publications in order to create interesting and natural threads where people can show us their speeches in a spoken way, or even show us some live place or some specific part that we want to know of the author's content.

With regard to the storage of content uploaded to IPFS, we are aware that the 5 GB that we initially offered to many users has fallen short, and we had been thinking of a way to increase this space for some time but not only increase it because we understand that this approach can be expensive to maintain and not very intuitive for people. By developing a solution we create the Plus plan.

This report took longer than expected because we took a week to develop all the material and prepare them for their work of reviewing day by day the publications made on the platform in order to maintain a safe and clean environment for everyone else.

Here I share with you a little of the material that was developed for them, however the complete manual cost eight sheets of the guidelines and procedures to be followed by the whole team to make the information easy to process and striking.
