01. The Video Revolution

From 41 Gigabytes to 13 Megabytes.

We tackled an architectural "God-level" bottleneck. Our new Video Transcoding Engine doesn't just upload video; it refines it. By injecting FFmpeg H.264 720p directly into our upload pipelines, we’ve achieved "Fast Start" capabilities.

• The Transformation: We reduced network requests from 1,796 down to just 5.
• Efficiency: What used to be a 41.7GB data-drain is now a 13.2MB clean, peaceful stream.
• The Engineering: We implemented Cache-Control: public and forced CORS header exposure to satisfy the strict requirements of modern browsers like Safari and Chrome. No more freezing at second 32. Just digital butter.

NOTE: Old videos may experience low performance due to old methods, we are already optimizing every single video to meet the standards and may take several days and preserve the long term of the project.

Creating content should be about the content, not the chores. We have integrated a sophisticated AI layer directly into the platform.

• Automated Metadata: Speak on Steem now auto-generates transcriptions, titles, descriptions, and tags for your videos.

• A Note on Precision: To ensure the highest quality of processing, our AI handles one request at a time. It works with focused intention; depending on platform traffic, your transcriptions will arrive with the care they deserve.

Our AI uses the power of Phi4-mini model and faster-whisper for transcriptions. English, Spanish are well detected, however it may fail when understanding other languages.

03. The Wallet. Redefined.

Security meets Fluidity.

Your economic power on Steem should be accessible and ironclad. We’ve rebuilt the wallet experience to be more than just a balance sheet—it’s a command center.

• Internal Market: Trade and manage your assets without leaving the platform.

• Proposal Integration: A dedicated page to view and interact with Steem DAO proposals.

• Key Management: A new, flexible system allows you to download a Full Keys File for total control, or a Login File for daily use.

• Seamless Onboarding: Integrated new account creation methods, with a mail validating system to avoid spamming and a easy-to-use tool to break the entry barrier the new users tends to beat.

This system ensures that the user download the keys first before following with the account creation. In other hand, we have activated a private email to send the validation codes professionally. (no-reply@speem.watch)

This system avoid sending any private key to our backend, and instead, we use only public keys to claim the account. WE CAN NOT RECOVER ANY KEY DIRECTLY, THEY ARE NOT STORED.

Once created the account, the system will auto-log in the user and send him to our onboarding screen.

• Log in with file system: No more copy pasting from files, we have designed a new login method to facilitate users the keys handling. When login, you can import your TXT file with your keys, and the system will take the needed key for one-time use (for security, you can perform Posting/Active operations with this method)

The best interface is the one that disappears. We’ve optimized the mobile feed to feel more compact and fluid.

• Compact UI: Icons are more refined, and the navbar is simplified for guest users.
• Skeleton Loading: No more "jumping" content. Our new skeleton UI ensures a stable, visual flow as data loads.
• SPA Integrity: We’ve preserved the Single Page Application structure across all links, ensuring the music (or video) never stops when you navigate.
• Auto-Detection: The Video Studio now automatically detects the optimal size for your video, ensuring every pixel is perfectly placed.
