Poetry Recitation "Tumi Jenechhile" the name of the poem?
"Assalamu Alaikum. I am thhridoy. Today I have come before you with a poetry recitation. The name of the poem is 'Tumi Jenechhile' (You Knew). The poem was written by Sunil Gangopadhyay.
'You knew, people touch hands and say friend. You knew, people stand face to face, exchange smiles, and go their separate ways, north and south. The moment you came and stood there, no one recognized you, no one saw you, everyone is a stranger to everyone else.'
Friends, from this story today, we learned that a relationship of a thousand years, even with people known and familiar for a thousand years, can become adversarial with the change of time and the passage of time. Therefore, we should ensure that we maintain our friendships by establishing firm faith and strength towards each other. I hope you all will like it."

So sad, this conclusion - but who will be able to deny it?
Could you imagine to tell us readers more about Sunil Gangopadhyay?
I know there is an article at Wikipedia, but maybe you have some more aspects?
How did you get aware of Sunil Gangopadhyay and of this poem which you cited and recited?
Did you read more poems by Sunil Gangopadhyay or other Indian /Bengali writers, and do you tell us which you like most?
I think this could result in some interesting posts by you!

"It's true that we don't understand each other very well sometimes. But we sometimes get the chance to make new friends and get to know each other. Thank you for sharing your thoughts❤️❤️
