Thought you guys might appreciate my wife's real business logo for the business we started post-covid, and it is doing great!

New Mission In Life

Me again, back to writing. I have been gone for a while, but I accomplished a lot in the time I was away. Since my last regular postings, I have not only graduated with two associate's degrees, I have also obtained a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Digital Media with a minor in Professional Communications. I met a beautiful woman, and she allowed me to marry her, and I bought a home in the Stadium District of Lansing, Michigan.

And Then I Learned...

It has been a long time since I have been on the BlockChain, and a lot has changed. Steemit was bought by Tron, and the Hive ecosystem was started. Wow! That was some news! Then my last post here did really well, and I really appreciated the love I was shown by the HIVE community. Now, I have come to see that Tron and Steemit do not deserve my attention enough to really worry about them at this time, and that was only one thing I have come to realize.

In The Meantime...

I have been mining for about two years with an SHA 256 ASIC miner, and I had accumulated around two thousand USD in BTC (2K USD), because when I had first got involved with the Blockchain, I realized that it had huge potential and would be a major part of the future, for good or bad. I was watching YouTube videos and had found what appeared to be a successful stock day trader, that had moved into crypto trading who was offering a "free" discord, so I joined.

Rejection!

I have a tendency to go all-in when I want to learn something, so I dived in to let us say, "the culture of the chat." Being the above-mentioned comms guy, I pride myself on "being able to fit in" in a professional setting. When I first got into the chat, it was a fairly misogynistic, and roughly spoken group, but after staying awake for two forty-eight-hour stretches with little sleep in between, I was ranked number one in the chat. I learned a whole lot about trading and reading charts, but then I was kicked out by a mod one night when I was giving a live rundown of the price acting because I had the fastest internet in the chat at that time. I was warned and before I could respond - bam! I was out. It is ok, the guy that runs the place does not have the most nurturing personality in my opinion anyway, to put it very nicely, but that brings up my next step in my trading crypto odyssey...

Finding a place to belong...

When the whole WSB fiasco started, I got into some Discord channels that were related to that, and one of them turned out to be somewhere that, with a little effort, I could bring into line and get some help out to some new people that desperately needed it. You see, crypto trading is full of whales now, and not the cool old Steemit days whales that would help you out, no, these are killer whales that want to eat every little minnow they can, and to me, it is sad. There are bots in the chatrooms, Pump and Dump rooms that set up new people for direct failure thinking that they will buy at a certain time, and everything sells immediately, people working in teams, and all manner of messed up human behavior on display in these chat room.

Now what?

Now I cannot save the world, but I can help some people, so I am going to focus on doing videos in a style to help the new to crypto and maybe older person. I have been called a "Boomer," even though I am Gen-X enough to recognize a market when I see it, so I will soon be putting my Video Production education to work, and I hope the HIVE community is as supportive of me as the Stemit community once was. Thank you and God Bless, and look forward to more posts and videos in the furture, I hope you like them so far!
