Yes new technologies are on the way. They especially include two-dimensional nanomaterial based solar cells. They’ll give rise to solar cells to be %100 opaque, flexible and ultralight with conversion efficiencies reaching up to %20-25s. And they will easily get fit on the commercial market with very low costs.
