Awesome!!! I know that they are really good people and people with integrity. I look up to them and I want them to succeed here. Fulltimegeek is very good at discerning who his SOGs are so I trust that everyone has a good heart like him.
So with my little SP, I would like to join the trail. But at 10% my vote value is $0. I have to be at 25% to give at least 0.01. How many votes will there be in a day? Coz I also still need to support other people. If I can't join the trail due to my SP, please let me know other ways I can support.
Hey @wanderlass, that is all you need to give... 10% should be the maximum... And yes it will show as 0 but it will get added to everyone else... so its not really 0... Plus the main reason for doing this is for your "moral support" of your upvote, not for the money you can give. They know we don't have any money, they wouldn't want us to give what we don't have.
These guys are the real deal and I promise you that they want you to do good. They will appreciate every vote they get (even if it is 1% of almost nothing)... This is why the curation trail idea I think is so good for people like us. We can show them we care, we can educate others about how much the are doing for the system, but just as importantly we can do it in a way that doesn't take us away from building a solid community. They want us to help each other and help the newbies. But I'm sure they will appreciate our collective voices.
And the way it works is you are giving away a % of your account to the curation trail which will autovote, and keeping the rest. So you don't have to worry about the number of votes, that will be my job... and I will manage that by setting the weights of my vote (because I want to keep the voting power high too)...
So the bottom line is... you should do it no more than 10%... and you can go even as low as 1% (and do it scaled)... and you should barely notice a hit to your own sp. Try it for a few days and contact me on discord and I can also walk you through it.

ps.. and the answer to the question is 1) be you, which is great... 2) do a good job a the newest ABC's of Curation "curator" (ps you are the next generation, i have heard from 2 of them you are in ;)... and 3) tell others about how to support @fulltimegeek in a way that doesn't throw them on the front lines. Some just don't know its even possible (and since you can do good posts, when you figure it out you can also tell them that way too) ;)

And since you are on steemauto already, then its easy. Just go to curation trails and type in the search for friendsofgondor... select follow (then change the weighting by "editing" it and select 1% for now so you can see how it works).

As for the job, no worries... its something that I think you are really going to enjoy! (and no pressure too ;) ) I think @amariespeaks @beeyou and @charisma will love to take you under their wings and are excited to have their first new "Curator"... its no worry... you will get set up and contribute when you can. Like how you sometimes moderate our discord channel. I mean if you feel like doing it and its fun then you do it, if not then no worries we have plenty of people watching it.
Its like you "can" do it if you like. As opposed to "having" to do it. Big difference. And you will deliver any time you try and frankly you've always delivered! So nothing to be worried about and if you never end up doing one, it would be ok too.
You are just approved, and that is the gist of it!

and btw, you can always change the setting and stop it altogether, you control everything except what I vote on. But since I set autovote like described above, its actually really simple to see. You will love it and I bet you will have your own curation trail before the end of this year ;)
