I was told I had to add at least 100 words to my posts to avoid being labeled as spam. While I disagree with this policy, I also don't want to risk being the target of a downvoting or bullying campaign. So for this reason, I am adding this text to my posts from now on. You'll notice it has nothing to do with the photo itself, but apparently I'm not supposed to post just photos. It seems to me that posting photos in #stockphotos should be a perfectly legitimate thing to do, but apparently not everyone sees it that way.
I wouldn't be 100% sure that putting the same text on every post won't get your posts labeled as spam too...
You're likely correct. I'm expecting it's not the end, but the person I was interacting with seemed less concerned with the spirit of the law than with a perfunctory adherence to the letter of the law. We'll see.
