Angelonia Biflora CalmlyCoolBloom 🌸
It’s a very perennial herb growing up 40–60 cm high. It belongs to the genus Angelonia in the family of Plantaginaceae. It’s Native to Brazil which is now widely cultivated & often naturalized throughout tropical Asia & parts of tropical Africa. Angelonia biflora can be used in teas, tinctures & extracts.
Aside from its aesthetic appeal, Angelonia has several benefits, including its deer & rabbit resistance, making it a practical choice for gardens with these common pests. The fragrant flowers also serve as a magnet for pollinators, making Angelonia an excellent addition to pollinator-friendly gardens.
Seeing flowers triggers a response in the human brain that calms it down. Psychologists report that patients with flowers in their home seem to have fewer anxiety attacks and lowered depressed thoughts. One study found that people with flowers in their homes just felt better.
