Learning + Action = Better
What’s the point of having countless books and libraries, whose titles could hardly be read through in a lifetime. The learner is not taught, but burdened by the sheer volume, and it’s better to plant the seeds of a few authors than to be scattered about by many. —SENECA, ON TRANQUILITY OF MIND
As a lifetime learner, I'm always reading at least a couple books at any given time. Books can give me a sense of possibility and empowerment. As a younger man, I felt like books gave me all the answers. I was simply wandering through Jorge Luis Borge's Library of Babel searching for the book that held the ultimate answers.
The more books I read, the more I realized they didn't have the answers. At best, they had good questions. It was up to me to provide the answers. My life was my response.
Books are still great. But living is better. Sometimes I have to remember to put down the book, turn up the music, and dance.

More is learned through trial & error than reading alone. Preparation matters, but meaningful engagement with "skin in the game" is the true catalyst for understanding.
