The Crossing:

From Uniforms to the Future
The photos taken during such photos depict the zenith of my secondary school experience; a period of transition, fraternity and the sadness of first-level realization of a passage being in a state of completion.

In retrospect, the student life was a tornado of emotions. It was between the high energy and excitement of friendship and the silent stress of academic pressure that I lived in those school walls. Mornings were when I was terrified because of a tough test, and these fears just vanished as soon as I saw my friends.

The Day That Made It All:

The shot of the two of us in our sun-red trousers and fresh white shirts is the one to mark the day I will not be able to forget: our last secondary school exam. It was an electrifying day. We were on the verge of becoming adults and a huge burden was taken off our shoulders. I experienced a massive feeling of happiness, pure and untainted joy since I was actually finished. We stood before the window; we were not only students, but also survivors of a long sea voyage. This moment was the marker of my school life since it was an effective ending of several years of hard work.

Brotherhood and the Grind:

The photo of the selfie you are looking at, when many of us are packed together in the picture, is the way our life is after hours. That was the time we ran right to classes after the normal school hours. Those were the additional hours that made our relationships much stronger as the sun was hot and we were exhausted. My classmates did not merely represent a group of peers but my support system. We exchanged jokes that would help us not to fall asleep in the lectures and snacks that would help us not get fatigued. This made me understand the importance of solidarity in that no matter how difficult the task is you are able to handle it as long as you have the right people around you.

Lessons Beyond the Classroom:

One of the people who did influence me was a teacher who created much discipline, coupled with a lot of encouragement. They taught me that it is always good to be honest and responsible rather than to have a good grade on a report card. I have a memory of how I did something wrong, when I tried to take a shortcut in doing a task and failed to do it right and how I was reprimanded, yet in a very kind manner. It demonstrated to me that integrity is my pillar to character.

Who I Am Today:

Remembering those times, I understand that they taught me not only math or science, but my personality and dreams. It is in these overcrowded lesson rooms that my current confidence was born. Patience has been acquired when I was waiting to hear that last exam bell. The value of persistence was inculcated in me during those school days. It is thanks to the laughter in that selfie and the pride I had in that last uniform that I am who I am. Those memories are not simply the events that happened in the past, these are my future.

Thanks for reading my post I'm inviting @pea07 @bela90 and @abdullahw2 to participate.

Greetings,

Thank you so much for participating in the contest.

Your writing created a deep emotion in me from the beginning. You wanted to highlight the connection between school life and the next chapter of life. It came out very beautifully.

In the first part, the emotional tension of school life, the joy of friendship and the pressure of studying, have been described very realistically. Especially the fear before the exam and the feeling of seeing friends that that fear disappears, many readers will be able to relate to their own lives.

The feeling of the last exam day, the light relief and the moment of moving forward towards the future have all been described very beautifully. The idea of standing next to the window and thinking of yourself as a survivor is truly amazing.

You have beautifully highlighted the importance of friendship. You have been able to clearly explain the power of staying together even in the midst of extra classes, heat, and fatigue. I liked the message that friends here are not only classmates, but also play a role as emotional support.

How important a role school life has played in the writer's confidence, patience and goal formation. Showing memories as the foundation of the future, not just the past, shows your mental strength.
