What is the childhood incident or story you want to share?

There are many incidents in our childhood that we can't even tell. But there are some incidents that still remain in our memories. In our childhood, we used to run around different places and do various mischiefs with our friends which we still remember. Sometimes those mischiefs led to crimes but we had guardians to warn us about it. Today I will share with you an incident of an electric tower that happened in my childhood.

Although our house had electricity, there was no electricity in many areas, so after a few years, new electric poles were suddenly installed in our area. So that electricity could reach everyone's area. However, those electric poles were not connected to electricity. The electric poles at that time were not that advanced, but the electric poles that I have shown in the picture are only to match the previous incident or to explain it in a similar way. There were different types of nuts and bolts on those electric poles that attracted me and my friends. We were young, so we were curious that if we got such big nuts and bolts in our hands, we could play.

Suddenly one day, we went to that electric pole as a mischief and tried to open a few nuts and bolts from under the pole. Although there was no electricity connection there and it was not set up in the final way, the bolts were a little loose, which was why they were opening. My friend and I easily unscrewed a nut and bolt. But before this incident could have been much bigger, our guardians disciplined us. Later, we realized that removing nuts and bolts from electric poles is the most heinous crime.

How old were you, and what exactly happened in that moment?

I was five years old then. When we saw the electric pole from a distance, we thought how much fun it would be if we could hold that pole. Because in childhood, our mentality was a little different. But when we stood under that electric pole and saw countless nuts and bolts, we were attracted to unscrew those nuts and bolts. There were many nuts and bolts there, which is why we had a desire in our minds that we would unscrew those iron nuts and bolts and take them home and play with each other.

When I unscrewed the nuts and bolts from the pole, I felt very happy. Because I thought in my mind that I could do it. I also thought in my mind that I could sell such a big piece of iron and buy many toys. I have shown a similar picture of that childhood incident below. I tried to hold the tower with my hand on the electric tower from a distance. As a child, I thought that this electric tower might come into my hands.

What emotions did you feel during and after the incident?

I was very happy at the time of the incident because I thought I had done a great job. Since I was young, our mentality was very fast. Whatever we did, we liked it and did it for fun. At that time, it may not have been a conscience that this work could be a criminal act. But when we tried to remove the nut and bolt from the electric tower, there was no one around us, so we laughed a lot.

But after the incident, when our guardian disciplined us and made it clear that this work was not a funny work. It was a criminal act. Later, our feelings were a little scary. After the incident, we felt a little scared and thought in our hearts that maybe the police would catch us haha. But since the electric tower was out of power, there were no electric workers. In view of that incident, some similar pictures were shown.

What lesson or realization did you learn from this experience?

In childhood, we did not want to understand or understand any incident easily. But later we learned about that incident. We used to make fun of any incident, but later on realizing it, we could understand that this incident was not a funny incident, it was a learning incident and a criminal incident. At first, we considered this incident in our childhood as a funny incident.

But later, from this incident, we learned that any kind of electricity tower or government object cannot be taken or opened as our own. This will cause harm to ourselves and the country. If something is taken in the absence of others, it is called theft, we gradually tried to understand these things. We were also able to learn that we have to protect the country's assets and we have to take care that no one can do this in the future.

How has this lesson influenced your life until today?

This lesson has had a significant impact on my life today. First of all, I would like to thank my parents who warned us. Because if my parents had not warned me that day, then maybe that fun would have turned into a daily habit.

Maybe we would have done that criminal act again and ended up in a bad situation. But from that incident, we were able to learn a lesson in life and now I can understand that other people's property or government property cannot be destroyed or touched without permission.

If you take government property as your own without permission, then it will be a crime religiously and legally. This incident has had a lot of impact on my life. Especially in some cases, it reminds me to be careful. If I see any child playing under such an electric tower or trying to harm them, I warn them.
