SC-S29/W2- Nostalgia Of The Liitle Me : My School Days
People say that school is a scam, not until you find yourself in a situation that you can't express yourself among others freely. My school days were full of ups and downs, which I'm going to write out in this post.
A moment that defines your school life(A day you will never forget: your first day at school or any happy, funny, or emotional school experience that still lives in your heart.)
My first day at school will remain evergreen; then I was still that naive small mummy's girl. I wouldn't forget that day that I was eager to be the first in the lecture hall. The class was supposed to start by 8 AM, but by 6:30 AM I was already in school, and guess what? I wasn't the first, not even the second, but I was lucky to secure a seat at the front. My coming early to classes made so many people like me; sometimes they will ask me to reserve a seat for them anywhere I want to sit.
One day, I came early as usual and kept one seat for my friend. I intentionally dropped my bags on the seat to confuse my course mate so he wouldn't sit on the chair, but someone came in without asking questions, removed my bags, and sat there. I was angry, and I started exchanging words with him, not knowing he is a cultist. After the lecture the guy and his friends blocked my way and collected my phone and the money I was with. It was a terrible day. I went home to tell my parents; they assured me of my safety and advised me to stop keeping a seat for anyone.
Describe how you felt as a student(your fears, excitement, struggles, or happiness inside the school walls.)
As a student from an average family, my student life was a struggle; I lived within my means. I didn't enjoy some flashy events that needed funds. There was a time I was living in fear out of that encounter with those cultists; I was always afraid that they may come to my hotel to harass me. At some point I gathered the courage to face my fears, and I came out victorious from the school walls.
A friend or teacher who mattered to you(Someone who inspired you, supported you, or disciplined you in a way that helped shape your character.)
My friend Destiny Chinoso ,This girl is one of a kind; she is indeed a true friend. Whenever I call upon her, she will come through for me. She was the departmental head who recorded so many achievements in the school; she inspired me a lot because she was not just intelligent, she was God-fearing and a philanthropist. I knew nothing on statistics then, and it was a compulsory course. She took it upon herself to lecture me one-on-one after school and during weekends. She also helped me stay focused on my studies.
A mistake or lesson from school life(An experience that taught you honesty, responsibility, confidence, patience, or an important life value.)
To be frank, school life taught me a lot. I belong to the group of people that procrastinate a lot. When I entered school, we were given deadlines to submit our assignments or projects. I didn't fail to submit before the time; this is something that I can't do ordinarily aside from school pressure.I learned how to live with different characters of humans without segregation, and I made connections that have helped me in one way or another after school.
Reflect on how those school days shaped who you are now(How your school days influenced your dreams, personality, or the values you still carry with you in life.
School shaped who I am today. Like I said, I was not a good time manager, but today I can handle and manage time effectively. The person I have become today—my school life contributed greatly to it.
I wouldn't forget to mention working with people around me, cooperating, and adjusting to life challenges; it wouldn't have been an easy task if not for school.I'm happy that today, I can organize, coordinate, and manage my life with little or no help from others.Although I am still on my way to getting to my dream job, which is becoming a great administrator in a government parastatal.

Your writing has very sincerely portrayed the memories, struggles and learning experiences of school life. At the beginning, you said that many call school a “scam” and reached the real life understanding from there. Reading these parts, the excitement of the first day, reaching school early in the morning, trying to sit in the front seat, I felt like I was seeing the events in reality.
However, the incident of reserving a seat and the terrible experience that happened from there was really a bit bad. Here, your emotions, fears and subsequent learning are clearly revealed. However, I like that the learning that you are taking from the experience is important.
As a middle-class student, your struggle, financial limitations and mental fear are presented very realistically. The fact that you have gathered courage and overcome fears is inspiring to me. The role of your friend Destiny Chinoso was extraordinary. The importance of a good friend and mentor is beautifully highlighted here.
In the last part, your dreams and self-reliance are clearly and positively expressed. In fact, the lessons of school life teach us a lot.
